Before and After Meme: Vaati-yaki

I found this meme some time ago and decided that I might as well see just how much I've improved. I decided to redraw this pic [link] because I wanted to draw Vaati and that picture still amuses me. This is the first time in a good two years that I've drawn Vaati in his actual canon clothing.

At the very least, I can definitely say I'm getting better at interesting poses. And for once, I managed to draw a hand that came out pretty well! I'm proud of it, at any rate. I'm finally comfortable saying I have both my own personal style and a decent grasp of shading.

Also, since it's kind of out of nowhere, the eyebat sitting on Vaati's shoulder in the new picture is his little servant/watcher Aifor.
